Our Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment
At PML Group NI we are committed to making a positive impact on our society. We have long-standing partnerships with three charities, Marie Curie, Tiny Life and Friends of the Cancer Centre, providing awareness support for their incredible services and fundraising initiatives. In 2022 alone, we delivered free advertising valued at over £250,000 to our charity partners. We also recognise that OOH sites are found in places where people work and live in, and we use our influence and monitoring service to ensure media owners maintain their sites, keeping them safe and looking great.
Sustainability is a key focus for us. As a business, we have made steps to minimise our impact on the environment, including a paperless office policy, using renewable energy suppliers and low-energy LEDs for lighting. At industry level, we influence our media and production partners to continue developing more sustainable practices and deliver best practice to clients across the whole industry. From solvent free printing to low energy use digital screens, we are driving change.
We also make regular financial donations to charities that are identified and chosen by our colleagues. In recent years, we’ve made contributions to Movember, The Trussel Trust and Cash for Kids.
This year, our team has decided to undertake the Charity Shops’ Challenge; an innovative fundraising event in support of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. Organised by Business in the Community, company teams each take over a Cancer Focus NI branch, aiming to raise as much money as possible through sales and other initiatives. This year the event takes place on Friday 19th May, and team PML Group NI will be taking over the Bangor Cancer Focus NI shop.
We are looking for help from our clients and media partners in this fundraising event, so if you’re planning a toyroom clear out or making space in your wardrobe – we’re keen to hear from you. Click on the link below for more information!
