The Mortgage Shop embraced all of Norn Iron’s quirks for a recent Out of Home advertising campaign at George Best Belfast City Airport. The large mural features a stylised map of Northern Ireland, and showcased popular tourist attractions including Enniskillen Castle, the Giant’s Causeway and the Harland and Wolff cranes.
The Media Hive NI on behalf of client The Mortgage Shop teamed up with local artist and illustrator, Danni Simpson, to install a bespoke branded mural at Belfast City Airport in the arrivals area.
George Best Belfast City Airport is a key travel hub, attracting a huge number of passengers annually. With flights from the Belfast hub to 27 destinations, including London, Edinburgh and Mallorca, the airport serves many business and tourist routes.

The mural is perfectly positioned in arrivals to greet passengers coming home, a feeling we wanted to encapsulate whether it’s arriving back in the country, opening your own front door or enjoying our world-famous hospitality that makes everyone feel welcome.
“Danni worked with us to deliver our vision in her style, and we are delighted with the outcome. The mural is here for everyone in NI to enjoy and acts as a reminder of The Mortgage Shop’s presence across NI, and their commitment to the local housing market.”

We love seeing snaps of the mural on social, and only a few weeks back Danni documented her return to Belfast after a trip to Australia, and how lovely it felt to be greeted by her own mural.”
